New emergency care facility coming to south Fulton County following Atlanta Medical Center closure

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Help is on the way for people in south Fulton County who need a place to go for emergency health care.

Grady Memorial Hospital is building a new 20,000-square-foot facility in south Fulton County. It will be an emergency care facility.

This comes more than a year after the closure of Wellstar’s Atlanta Medical Center South and Atlanta Medical Center, which caused a strain for people living in the southern part of the county.
